Pre-Hospital Moving & Handling Techniques

Details: 25 filmed scenarios that staff within the emergency services face daily within their roles. They reinforce and refresh them on the moving and handling techniques learned following the practical training they receive

Costs: The purchase price is dependent on the volume of access required, but can be sold for as little as 40p per annual access licence!

Content of the film clips include:

• Video demonstrations for each scenario (filmed in partnership with emergency services staff from Kent Fire & Rescue, SECAMB, WMAS (West Midlands Ambulance Service), and BM Private Ambulance Service)
• Step-by-step instructional guides on how to conduct each task (voice and text)

Information:

Due to demand, we have developed and filmed ambulance and fire sector-specific moving and handling techniques to complement and reinforce practical skills training.

Where possible, the clips mirror evidence-based best practice in line with ‘handling of people’ 7^th edition.

Moving and handling within a pre-hospital setting requires problem-solving skills and the knowledge and 50 years of sector experience our developers hold has enabled us to provide solutions to limit the risk associated with moving and handling tasks.

Annual licence access costs:

Access is granted free for people who have attended a Solutions Train the Trainer course or can be purchased as an internal training aid based on an annual licence fee based on the below volumes:

• Band one: 10 to 99 staff = £250 (99 licences £2.52 a head)
• Band two: 100 to 499 staff = £500 (499 licences 99p a head)
• Band three: 500 to 999 staff = £750 (999 licences 75p per head)
• Band four: 1000 to 1999 staff = £1250 (1999 licences 62p per head)
• Band five: 2000 to 2,999 staff = £1,750 (2,999 staff 58p per head)
• Band six: 3,000 plus staff = £2,000 (4,000 staff 50p per head)

Disengagement/Holding Techniques Training 

Developed for: All sectors

Details: filmed scenarios that your staff face daily within their roles. They reinforce and refresh them on the disengagement/holding/breakaway techniques learned following the practical training they receive.

Costs: The purchase price is dependent on the volume of access required, but can be sold for as little as 80p per annual access licence!

Content of the film clips include:

• Video demonstrations for each scenario (filmed in partnership with emergency services staff from Kent Fire & Rescue, SECAMB and BM Private Ambulance Service)
• Step-by-step instructional guides on how to conduct each task (voice and text)

Information:

Our videos have been developed and directed by Police and Ambulance professionals to be used as a supporting aid for trainers and trainees that have attended conflict resolution training courses.

Each video is designed to show the physical technique along with guidance on how to execute a safe breakaway for each scenario.
