New for 2024 Mental Health First Aid

In February 2024 the Health & Safety Executive stated that employers must now consider the Mental Health of their staff when conducting their First Aid assessments. Along with the explosion of absenteeism due to mental health issues responsible employers should have mental health first aiders available to initially support and direct people who need help. Solutions have a strong team of trainers who have backgrounds in frontline NHS roles with vast experience of supporting people at such a crisis.

We have developed a highly practical two-day programme ( accredited by the CPD service) to equip staff with the skills to recognise the most common types of mental health issues and know how to initially respond, manage the situation and ensure people are appropriately guided for further support. The highly interactive programme will enable the attendees to manage a simulated crisis with the use of a trained actor. This will not be death by PowerPoint led by a person without actual experience of such situations.
