This manual handling course has been designed with the core aim of creating a confident and more motivated, competent person to assess manual handling risks in the workplace. Participants must have knowledge of safer handling techniques. The content will be adapted to either the moving of inanimate or animate loads.

  • To equip competent Manual Handling trainers with the knowledge and skills to identify and report on issues in the workplace that have either lead to a reduction of injuries, or make recommendations on further actions required to reduce risks in the workplace.

  • To enable participants to build confidence and reinforce little used handling skills
