At Solutions Training, we have a long established reputation for delivering nationally recognised health & safety training and education health courses to emergency service professionals - training that enables them to safely and effectively perform their duties and reduce costs to employers. We have written the standards for the patient and casualty handling for the UK ambulance services and we are working with the UK Fire and Rescue services to develop national standards for casualty manual handling.
At Solutions training we have a very long and well established relationship with the 999 services. Indeed the team includes former members of the police, ambulance and emergency response teams meaning we understand the culture, values and needs to apply safe working practices in sometimes very demanding and stressful circumstances.
In 2007 we launched blended learning options to the 999 services involving a combination of on line and instructor lead learning and have further courses under development.
 
Our experiences include assisting both ambulance and fire services address HSE improvement notices, the development of specialist learning materials such as directing and production of high quality video film training, resource learning worksheet materials – all in close partnership with our client organisations to ensure exacting learning needs are met. To date we have worked with most UK ambulance services and many fire and rescue services, the British Transport Police as well as emergency response teams in the petro-chemical and gas industries. Many of the training programmes developed for this unique sector have been rigorously evaluated and accredited by an EDEXCEL / BTEC award which confirms the quality and content. We have case studies to demonstrate how we have contributed to risk and cost reduction.

by our experienced tutors, who hold a clear understanding of the specific needs of today’s emergency services.
All emergency services personnel who attend our courses receive access to our Dedicated Support Service. Allowing them direct access to the Solutions Training team to discuss or debrief on any incident. Add to this our refresher, update and ‘train the trainer’ courses and it is not surprising that many emergency service organisations chose Solutions Training as their provider of training and education courses.
