The Open Learning pack is ideal for trainees to cover the theory of safer minimal handling at their own pace, and at times that suit them and their shift patterns.
A Trainee Workbook allows the Trainer or Manager to monitor progress and assess understanding. Practical skills training supporting the theory can then be given by the Manual Handling Trainer, thus reducing the time trainees need to be away from the work place.
